A journey in Morocco, late 2016. From the streets of Marrakech to the High Atlas Mountains and the Sahara beyond. A land of contradiction, contrast and colour, to use only a single station of the alphabet, The Western Kingdom has much to enthral a photographer. I found myself delighting in the bustle and frankly madcap motorised energy of the roads and streets of Marrakech and then shortly after falling in love with the beautiful and dramatic empty landscapes and then being charmed by the sporadic villages at the edge of the desert. There is a sense of energy in Morocco that I have never experienced anywhere else and I must admit to falling head over heels in love with it. These photos are in some way a love letter to the country and a hopeful promise that I shall return often.
